Khaleel Agail Mohammed Alshaikh is a PhD Researcher in Control and Instrumentation Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), specializing in digital twins, intelligent control, industrial automation, and smart energy systems. He earned both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electronic Engineering (Control) from the University of Medical Sciences and Technology (UMST), graduating with First-Class standing. He brings more than seven years of academic, research, and engineering leadership experience, including serving as Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, M.Sc. Program Coordinator, and Lecturer at UMST. His research focuses on AI-enabled monitoring and control, renewable-energy integration, cyber-resilient smart grids, IoT-based industrial systems, optimization, and real-time validation. Khaleel has contributed to peer-reviewed journals and international IEEE conferences in digital twins, load-frequency control, smart grids, renewable-energy systems, and industrial automation. His work aims to bridge advanced control research with practical industrial solutions that improve reliability, efficiency, resilience, and digital transformation in the energy and utilities sectors, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
