Dr. Mohammad Nahid Siddiqui, Professor of Chemistry and Senior Research Scholar in the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Refining and Advanced Chemicals (IRC-RAC) at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. His areas of research included but not limited to residue upgrading, desulphurization, asphaltenes, aging and polymer modification of asphalts, chemical recycling of waste plastics, polymer composites and removal of water pollutants. He has authored over 150 refereed journal publications, has 32 issued U.S. patents, and has received the Excellence in Research Awards in 2012 and 2017. He has completed over 30 research projects funded by KACST/KFUPM.
